Ketergantungan aktivitas agribisnis lahan kering-marjinal pada musim hujan  dan aktivitas nelayan pada musim kemarau serta struktur tradisi patriarkhi yang meredam potensi kerja perempuan di rumah mengakibatkan  kemiskinan di Kecamatan Sekotong-Lombok Barat, Indonesia. Tradisi ini mengakibatkan banyak waktu menganggur perempuan di rumah, padahal hasil agribisnis lahan kering dan hasil usaha perikanan tangkap mudah diakses karena pemukiman berada di kawasan pesisir yang menjadi tujuan ekowisata bahari. Penelitian ini merancang model pemberdayaan ekonomi kelompok perempuan berbasis sinergitas potensi agribisnis lahan kering-marjinal dan potensi sumberdaya pesisir/laut yang menjadi obyek ekowisata bahari untuk pengentasan kemiskinan. Impelementasi model akan menjamin keberlanjutan perolehan pendapatan sepanjang tahun untuk pengentasan kemiskinan bagi kelluarga petani-nelayan di Kecamatan Sekotong.  

ABSTRACT

Dependence of agribusiness activity of marginaldry land during the dry season, as well as patriarchy structures harbored the potential of women's work resulted inpoverty in Sub District of Sekotong, West Lombok. Indonesia. This tradition has resulted in a lot of time unemployed women in the home, where as the results of dry land agribusiness and fishery business results easily accessible because of the settlement are in coastal areas into marine ecotourism destination. This study aimed to design a model female strengthening, for empowerment economic of women group, based on the synergy potential of marginal dry land agribusiness and resource potential of coastal/marine who becomes the object of marine ecotourism. Implementation of the model would ensure the sustainability of revenue through out the year for poverty alleviation of farmer-fishermen families in Sekotong Sub District West Lombok.
